Last summer vibes..

Dress / Rochie - H&M || Sandals / Sandale - H&M (old) || Bag / Geanta - Zara

Yes, my dears, you guessed it right from the title, this is the last outfit with shot in Sanya and the last one for summer 2017. Even if this took place just two weeks ago, it seems to be so very long gone and the pouring rain we've been having the past few days makes it seem an even further away memory. However, before starting with the fall outfits (fact for which I am quite excited) I wanted to share this one with you because I am utterly in love with this dress and I just feel sorry that I didn't get the chance to wear it more often this past season. I did tell you I went a bit H&M dress cray-cray this summer :)) but oh well, at least I'll have many almost-new things to wear next season as well.

And this one is beyond pretty due to it's one-shoulder detail, the ruffles and the sheer sleeves, which can be worn long or can be tied up and made shorter. Plus that I wanted a white dress for summer and I finally found the right one. The ways for styling it are various, but I particularly love the combination of white and brown / cognac / beige and therefore I chose my very old but beloved sandals from H&M, which are also the comfiest sandals I have and the straw bag from Zara, which I wanted to wear one last time this season. :)

What do you think?

Have a great new week, A.

Under the palms..🌴

 Dress / Rochie - H&M || Sandals / Sandale - Zara ||
Bag / Geanta - Victoria's Secret || Earrings / Cercei - H&M

What can I tell you?! H&M had the prettiest dresses this summer and I couldn't help myself. Even if all of these dresses were on the pricier side of H&M, I always waited patiently until they went on Sale and generally I got them 50-60% off. Pretty cool, huh? :)

Anyway, I got this one sometime in June I think and I kept it in my closet especially for this holiday and boy was that hard. There are advantages and disadvantages if you do this like myself: the advantage would be that you have new items for your holiday and I totally love wearing new things in special places :), but the disadvantage is that you only get to wear that item once or twice during that season, especially if your holiday is at the end of summer. This is exactly what happened to me and now I can hardly wait for another holiday / next summer to get some more wear out of all these pretty dresses.

One evening on our way to dinner, we caught another gorgeous sunset and we also found this pretty location, therefore shooting this outfit was a must. I combined the dress with my golden sandals, which I have the feeling they go with almost everything and a pair of yellow earrings, to which I added some black accessories to balance a little bit all those bright colors and to make the outfit more evening appropriate.

What do you think of this look? Do you also "postpone" wearing your new items for holidays?

Wishing you a great weekend,

Twirl, baby, twirl

 Dress / Rochie - H&M || Minaudière / Gentuta - Zara || Sandals / Sandale - Zara

As I was telling you yesterday, summer is not over yet around here and moreover, I shot some cute little outfits during our holiday in Sanya last week. But to tell you first a little something about Sanya, it is the southernmost city in the Hainan Island, China. It is renowned for its tropical climate and it is very often called "China's Florida" or "China's Hawaii". :) We were supposed to spent 7 days there, but we had to leave one day earlier due to a typhoon which was going to hit the island exactly on Friday, when we were supposed to fly back to Shanghai. Reason for which we preferred to leave earlier, even though I would have like to soak up some more sun. You know, it's never enough :)

We stayed at Sanya Marriott Hotel, Dadonghai Bay and since we had such a great time there I decided to mention it on my blog as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful, many of them were able to speak English (yay to that!!), the room was spacious and beautiful, with a balcony and an ocean view, the food was also very good and there are 3 or 4 different restaurants within this resort. There is also a lovely lounge where you can enjoy a breathtaking view and some drinks, but they also have a beautiful garden, which we didn't get the chance to experience anymore.
Another thing which we absolutely loved were the pools (a big and a small one at the higher floor, a big one and one for children, at the lower floor) which have a great view towards the beach. We liked the pools and the pool area so much in fact that we decided to go there everyday and we didn't feel like going to the beach. The beach at the hotel was full of rocks, so I don't know how safe it was for swimming, whereas the public beach with sand was about 10 min (1km) away from us, but as we had such amazing beaches in Okinawa we decided to enjoy the silence at the pool. :) We had there everything we needed so we couldn't be bothered to leave the resort :)).

So anyway, we took these photos one evening when we went to enjoy some cocktails at the Lounge Bar, together with a great sunset and view. I couldn't wait to wear this dress from H&M and I think it fitted the location perfectly, probably even better than I could have ever imagined it. :) I paired this fuchsia dress with my golden sandals, which are in fact the only heeled ones I took on holiday with me, and my colourful minaudière, both from Zara.

What do you think of this look? I still have 2 or 3 summer dresses to show you and after that I hope I'll start shooting some fall looks, so bare with me :))

P.S: I wasn't taking any selfies with the phone in my hand, don't worry, I just discovered the remote control to my camera!  Oh happy day! :D
